Three Marion High School tennis players have been named to the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches’ Association All-State teams.
- Junior Riley Worland was named Second Team All-State Singles
- the doubles team of Nicholas Spitzer, senior, and Jonathan Walts, sophomore, was named Second Team All-State doubles.
Worland was 22-5 at #1 singles and advanced to the IHSAA State Singles Finals, losing on Friday in the quarterfinals to the eventual state champion, Patrick Fletchall from Carmel. Spitzer and Walts finished the season with an 18-3 record at #1 doubles. 16 singles players and 10 doubles teams were chosen for each of the First and Second All-State singles and doubles teams.
- Worland, Spitzer and Walts were also named First Team All-North Central Conference.
- Freshman Noah Lyons was named Second Team All-NCC.
Lyons posted a 14-4 record at #2 singles and 16-7 overall record.
