The Marion High School girls basketball team was too much for their county rivals at Mississinewa High School on Tuesday night, winning 66-40.
The Chronicle-Tribune described the Giants’ defense as “smothering” and said the “Giants completely stifled host Mississinewa”.
Jazmyn Turner led the team with 19 points, and RaShaya Kyle added 18 in the Giants seventh straight victory. Ellie Vermilion added 14 points and four steals for the Giants.
