Girls’ soccer players earn state honors

Several Marion High School girls’ soccer players earned state recognition for their performance on and off the field this year. MHS seniors Tahlor Mills and Rachel Jumper and juniors Emily Murphy and Samantha Dietrich were named to the All-State Academic Team by the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association. Girls’ basketball game moved due to power outage at MHS

The girls’ basketball game set for Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Marion High School has been moved due to the continuing power outage at MHS. The Giants will host Fort Wayne Canterbury at McCulloch Junior High School, instead of Marion High School. Only the varsity teams will play. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
